M&S BRINGS THE SPIRIT OF SUMMER TO ROYAL WELSH SHOW
Marks & Spencer (M&S) is inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the Spirit of Summer at its show stand at the Royal Welsh Show, Builth Wells, from 18 – 21 July.
The bright and colourful stand will bring the very best of M&S to life by showcasing the retailer’s commitment to sustainable farming and local produce, giving visitors the chance to enjoy the new Spirit of Summer range, and bringing recipes to life through demonstrations by M&S and suppliers.
Children will have the opportunity to get hands on and learn about M&S’ farming initiatives through engaging and interactive activities including learning the life cycle of salmon, a ‘Mushroom Shy’ game, and the chance to see a real hatchery and live chicks, all showcasing the industry-leading Lochmuir Salmon, Vitamin D mushrooms and Oakham chicken.
Steve Mclean, M&S Head of Agriculture & Fisheries, said: “We’re very excited to be back at the Royal Welsh Show and can’t wait to welcome visitors to the Spirit of Summer stand. For M&S, this year is a real celebration of innovative products that are produced in the UK for our customers to enjoy, and the extraordinary lengths taken to provide this fantastic food.
“There will be plenty of activities to keep visitors and children entertained, as well as the chance to taste some of the food and drinks in our brand new Spirit of Summer range.”
This year M&S will once again be sponsoring a selection of the beef and sheep livestock classes, as well as Young Sheep Handler, Junior Pig Handling, Native Breed Championship and Cattle Young Handler.
