Horeb Congregational Chapel
Church Street , Builth Wells, LD2 3BA
Horeb Chapel was originally built in 1804, with an extension taking place in 1829. The current Lambordic style building, reportedly costing £1800, was built in 1869. It is said that the spire was built to be a foot taller than St Mary’s, in an attempt to be near to God.
